I'm going to stick my neck out and hope I don't offend anyone.

There is a huge roll of Kodak Polymax Fibre semi-matte paper on the 'bay. I put the first bid in. I'm wondering if anyone is interested in going in with me on this. I calculated I can get approx 430 8x20 prints from the roll. Storage will be an issue as I'd like to keep it in my freezer, so I'd have to cut it anyway. I haven't decided how to cut it yet, but it will be either 20" wide or 10" wide or something like that. Probably on a bandsaw under a safelite.. The guy says it has been cold stored. It may be useful for enlarging/contact printing but no guarantees..

It's a lot of paper (40" x 164 feet. The roll is 8" in diameter and weighs 55 pounds). The last roll this guy sold went for $100 + shipping.. If anyone is interested in going halves with me, I'm all ears. PM me or email me at johnjarosz_at_comcast.net, You know what to replace in that email addy. My labor is free, no markup, just material cost and shipping costs.

I hope I haven't disrupted anyone else's plans to bid on this. If anyone has, then I'll bow out.

The auction # is 330303351477

John, yes I have that roll of paper bookmarked. I'm interested to see what it goes for. I would go in if I wasn't totally cash poor right now. It would be nice for 8x10,11x14 and 8x20. Could make a lot of prints with that much paper. Good luck.
