I am considering using Yupo for a final support.

Has anyone on this forum had problems like image peeling off from regular Yupo (not Yupo Blue) after a few months? Any other problems?

I have had multilayer carbons that have been printed onto Yupo with no problems.

Thanks for the replies,

Ron

Ron, so far no problems with carbon on YUPO (knocks on wood). Currently there is a 4 color carbon taped to a South facing window seeing how long it takes to crater (along with an ink jet print). It has been there for a month so far and no problems. The one thing that Bob Herbst found with carbon on aluminum is that it is necessary to clear the image otherwise it turns to mud cracks in an aging test. Need to reduce all of the dichromate to chromium III.

Howard
Best regards and happy printing.

Howard
